- When emotions and problems become too much to manage by yourself
- When your level of stress interferes with daily activities such as school and work
- When you have a life altering event that leaves you feeling overly anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, angry, and/or sad.
- When you need someone with an unbiased opinion to help sort out thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are getting in the way of a desired outcome
- When issues with family members and/or significant other are at a point that members involved are not able to resolve problems on their own
How do I know if my child needs therapy?
- If they have experienced a life changing event such as death of a loved one including family, friends, and pets; divorce; move; birth of a sibling; addition of step parent/family; abuse including physical, emotional, and/or sexual
- If they have a noticeable change in behaviors that has lasted for a month or more
- if they are struggling in school
- If their behaviors are unmanageable and creating stress at home

- Insurance companies require a formal diagnosis and information regarding your reasons for utilizing therapy
- You are limited to a certain amount of sessions, with the exception of severe mental health concerns
